Our Experience
Sam Allison, CPA, MBA, CGMA, has been serving clients and companies since graduating from Troy University in 2003. He spent 7 years in public accounting, working with clients in several industries and performing audits, reviews, compilations and outsourced CFO services. In 2010, he left public accounting to focus on the private sector. Sam was honored to work for a young, growing construction company as well as a large multi-location not-for-profit ministry, and finally an international construction supplier which was a subsidiary of a $14B global entity. While he wasn't in public accounting by day, he continued to "moonlight" and serve over 20 clients in limited capacities between 2010 and 2018. Finally, in 2018, the stars aligned and it was time to focus on those clients fulltime. While the concept was formed as far back as 2009, everything became more official with the formation of Lighthouse CPA, LLC in August 2018. Sam quickly sought out other professionals and formed an impressive network of fellow business advisors who share information and services to serve their individual clients. Now, he is able to share his passion by helping others, and the journey has been exciting so far!
